Pastor Dwayne Britt, an ordained minister of the United Pentecostal Church International, was born and raised in San Diego, CA; he graduated from high school and attended Grossmont College. Pastor Britt was converted, baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost in 1982 under the late Pastor David F. Gray. He went on to attend Christian Service Training Institute Bible College (C.S.T.I.) and graduated second in his class with honors as salutatorian in 1986. After serving as an associate pastor under Bishop James N. Larsen of The Anchor (formerly Revival Tabernacle), Pastor Britt founded New Life Tabernacle in January, 2000. His vision from God is to establish a multicultural church with the purpose to seek to teach all ages the word of God, persuade them to pray and to equip them to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Britt married his beautiful wife Melvina Britt in October, 1989 and from this union was born 3 children, Demetrius, Monique and Tyara.
